Why independent verification
Research peptides ship as off-white lyophilized powders that look identical regardless of what's actually in the vial. Identity, content, purity, and sterility can only be confirmed by an accredited third-party lab — not by the manufacturer alone.
What a complete COA covers
A trustworthy Certificate of Analysis pairs HPLC purity with mass spectrometry identity, plus endotoxin and sterility testing on the same lot. Heavy-metal screening is the layer most often skipped; we keep it in the panel because peptide synthesis catalysts can leave trace residues.
Lot-level traceability
Each lot of every Helixa product is tested independently and the raw COA is published. If you cannot search a lot number against raw data, you cannot reproduce your own experiments.
What this means for your protocols
When a result drifts between batches, the first question is always 'did the input change?'. Lot-traceable COAs let you rule the input in or out before you redesign the experiment.
